Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced

SAP FICO Functional Consultant

to support remotely from India to a global client based in California. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in both

SAP Financial Accounting (FI)

and

Controlling (CO)

modules, along with hands-on experience in

data migration

for

SAP General Ledger (GL) balances

and

SAP Fixed Assets . This is a remote position, where the consultant will be required to support clients in the USA and Brazil time zones.Please share profiles to

Key Responsibilities:

SAP FICO Implementation & Support:Provide functional expertise in SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules for implementation, configuration, and ongoing support.Configuration & Customization:Configure and customize SAP FI and CO based on business requirements, including but not limited to:Financial Accounting (FI) : General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting.Controlling (CO) : Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Product Costing.Data Migration:

Lead and support

data migration efforts

for SAP

GL balances

and

Fixed Assets

data, ensuring smooth transition to the SAP system from legacy systems.Brazil Rollout Experience (Advantageous):Experience in

SAP rollout projects

in Brazil, including localization requirements like taxation, reporting, and statutory compliance in Brazil.Testing & Documentation:Create detailed documentation and test scripts. Conduct testing, including integration and user acceptance testing (UAT), and support clients during the cutover phase.Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:Collaborate with other functional consultants (e.g., SAP MM, SAP SD) and technical teams (e.g., ABAP developers) to ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other modules.Desired Skills & Experience:

Experience:Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant, with expertise in both

Financial Accounting (FI)

and

Controlling (CO)

modules.Proven experience in

SAP GL balances

and

Fixed Assets data migration .Brazil rollout experience

is highly desirable, particularly knowledge of Brazilian tax and compliance requirements.

Technical Skills:Strong configuration skills in SAP FI and CO modules.Hands-on experience with

data migration tools

(e.g., LSMW, BODS) for

GL balances

and

Fixed Assets .Soft Skills:Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across geographies.Ability to work in a client-facing role, managing client expectations and providing exceptional support.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Work Hours:

Remote role

with flexibility to work during USA and Brazil business hours.
