Job Title: Centre Manager – Operations
Location: Mangalore, Karnataka.
Salary: ₹35-40k/month + Performance based incentive.

Job Overview

The Centre Manager – Operations will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the coworking space, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, excellent member experience and efficient facility management. The role requires a blend of hospitality, operations, and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Centre Operations & Administration

  2. Manage daily operations of the coworking space, ensuring seamless functioning of facilities and services.

  3. Supervise housekeeping, security, and maintenance staff for high standards of cleanliness, safety, and upkeep.
  4. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
  5. Coordinate with vendors, facility teams, and service providers for timely execution of tasks.

  6. Member Experience & Client Relations

  7. Act as the primary point of contact for all members and resolve queries/issues promptly.

  8. Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and renewals.
  9. Organize community engagement activities, networking events, and client feedback sessions.

  10. Business & Revenue Management

  11. Support sales team in achieving occupancy targets by conducting walkthroughs, handling client queries, and assisting in closures.

  12. Monitor billing, collections, and account reconciliation for clients.
  13. Track and report centre performance metrics (occupancy, revenue, costs, member satisfaction).

  14. People Management

  15. Lead and motivate on-ground teams including front desk, operations executives, and support staff.

  16. Schedule shifts, delegate responsibilities, and monitor performance.
  17. Conduct regular training to maintain high service standards.

  18. Facility & Infrastructure Management

  19. Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of the centre.

  20. Ensure availability of IT support, internet, utilities, and office supplies.
  21. Manage vendor contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs).

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and client-handling ability.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of facility management and operations.
  • Basic understanding of P&L, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in operations, preferably in coworking, hospitality, retail, or facility management.
