Working seamlessly with business line home offices, project sites, customer organizations and suppliers, our teams have delivered more than 125 projects since our inception in 1994.Our offices in Gurgaon, Vadodara and Chennai will grow significantly and sustainably with exciting career opportunities for both professionals and young graduates who are passionate about creating a cleaner, greener, and safer world; building transformational infrastructure; making decarbonization a reality; and protecting people and the environment.Summary:A recognized degree in electrical engineering discipline, from an accredited college or university.Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience.Relevant work experience in FEED, proposal & detailed engineering preferably in an EPC industry for large industrial plants, power projects, utilities, oil and gas plants.Responsible for assigned activities in electrical engineering discipline.Job Dimensions:Supervision ReceivedReceives operational supervision and technical guidance from Senior Engineer.Supervision ExercisedSupervises and provides technical direction to designers and drafters as assigned.ContactContacts counterpart in other disciplines, supplier/client representatives and project field personnel when directed, to either gather or give information.Essential Job Duties:Performs electrical discipline work which involves the preparation, interpretation or review of calculations, specifications, electrical layout plans including lighting and grounding systems.Participates in one or more of the following:ETAP/Smart Plant Electrical (SPEL)Equipment design and developmentSystem design, including concept sketches and layoutsPreparation of specifications and design calculationsReviewing and checking designs, drawings and data by other engineers or by suppliersPreparation or review of engineering studies and reportsPreparation or review of material quantity estimatesUses engineering computer aided design/computer aided engineering (CAD/CAE) toolsPrepares letters for replies to vendor correspondence.Monitors project controls within discipline.Reviews design documents of equipment manufacturers or subcontractors of a moderate degree of complexity and prepares comments & recommendations.Assists in preparation of forecasts, quantity take-offs and change orders.Participates in and fosters a work environment that is based upon directness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction.Job Knowledge:3 years’ experience in Design and Engineering, preferably in an EPC industry.Technical knowledge of engineering systems, engineering calculations, applications of engineering methods and construction methods and materials, and application of computer aided engineering (CAE)/computer aided design (CAD) tools to engineering problems.Experience of preparing technical specifications, datasheets, material requisitions and vendor print reviews for various electrical equipmentKnowledge of SPEL for preparation of load list, MCC schedule etc.Experience in various electrical layouts like grounding, raceways and lighting etc.Knowledge of Building Power Management which includes controlling and monitoring of Building’s mechanical and electrical equipment such as HVAC, lighting, power systems, fire systems, access control and security systems.Review of 3D Model in S3D and Autodesk Revit using SPR or Navisworks and be a stakeholder in 30%, 50% and 90% Model Reviews with Client, Vendor and Sub Contractors.Knowledge of project controls within discipline.Good knowledge of major industry or regulatory standards and design criteria pertinent to the engineering discipline.Basic skill in oral and written communication.Shaping tomorrow together
