Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Metal Products/Scrap Metal Trader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in selling Metal products and scrap Metal, with a comprehensive understanding of the Metal industry. As a Trader, you will be responsible for establishing and managing relationships with clients in large and medium Metal companies/traders, negotiating contracts, and ensuring efficient transactions of Metal products.
Responsibilities:
Identify and approach potential clients, build relationships, and maintain regular contact to understand their Metal needs and requirements.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive market prices.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of Metal products and scrap Metal according to client specifications.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for business growth and adapt strategies accordingly.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with internal teams such as logistics, finance, and operations to ensure smooth execution of sales transactions.
Requirements:
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in the Metal industry.
Strong understanding of Metal products, scrap Metal, and the Metal market.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers.
Results-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction and business growth.
Familiarity with market trends, pricing strategies, and competitor analysis.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
