At Whizz EV, our goal is to transform the two-wheelers currently used by quick commerce, ecommerce, and food delivery companies into electric vehicles. We are dedicated to advancing sustainable transportation and decreasing carbon emissions in the last mile delivery industry. We firmly believe that electric two-wheelers are the way forward for last mile delivery, and we are excited to be part of this movement.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Cluster Manager (Two-Wheeler) to join our team. The Cluster Manager will be responsible for managing a team of Team Leaders, who in turn recruit and manage riders. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of the last mile delivery industry, and a passion for sustainable transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead, manage, and support Team Leaders in their daily operations. Ensure that Team Leaders are effectively recruiting, training, and managing riders.
- Target Achievement: Set performance targets for Team Leaders and ensure that they are met or exceeded. Develop strategies to improve team performance and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services.
- Problem Solving: Act as the first point of contact for Team Leaders when issues arise. Provide guidance and support to resolve operational problems and escalate issues when necessary.
- Rider Escalations: Handle escalations from riders regarding operational issues, ensuring that problems are resolved quickly and effectively.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of Team Leaders and riders, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on team performance, challenges, and achievements. Present these reports to senior management and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure that all operations comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Promote the use of electric vehicles and sustainable practices within the team. Encourage riders to adopt eco-friendly practices and support the company’s mission of reducing carbon emissions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably within the last mile delivery or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of team management, target setting, and performance monitoring.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle escalations effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for sustainable transportation and a commitment to environmental responsibility.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
