Amazon Seller Services is an important division of Amazon Inc., a multi-national company headquartered in Seattle, USA. The division aims to help sellers grow their business by offering services which leverage high quality Amazon capabilities. As an Events Marketing Specialist with Amazon Seller Services India, you will play a pivotal role in creating impactful seller engagement experiences.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent event management skills, strong creativity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A deep understanding of the seller community and their evolving needs, coupled with effective stakeholder management abilities, will be crucial for success in this role. Operating in a rapidly changing environment will require the candidate to be adept at dealing with ambiguous, new and challenging situations.
Key job responsibilities
•Designing and executing comprehensive event strategies to connect with the seller community. This will involve conceptualizing innovative event formats, themes, and content to drive maximum participation and impact.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan and organize seller-focused events, workshops, and summits. This includes managing event logistics, content development, speaker/partner coordination, and on-site execution.
• Developing compelling event promotion and communication plans to generate awareness and excitement among the seller base. This will require leveraging various channels and platforms to reach and mobilize the community.
• Fostering strong relationships with sellers, influencers, and industry partners to gather insights, identify event topics, and secure high-caliber speakers and sponsors.
• Analyzing event performance metrics and feedback to continually refine and optimize the event strategy. This data-driven approach will ensure the events deliver tangible value to sellers and align with Amazon's strategic objectives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-4 years of experience in events and marketing is preferred
- Experience in an analytical, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction.
- Demonstrated active listening skills, highly consultative and solutions-oriented.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly in the local language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Innovative and creative with Web technologies to build high performing websites and . Expert knowledge of JS & HTML is preferred
