GST Filing Associate

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive GST Associate to join our team. The role involves managing end-to-end Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance, ensuring accurate filings, maintaining proper documentation, and supporting the finance team in all GST-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and filing of monthly/quarterly/annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).
• Reconciliation of GST input credit with GSTR-2B and vendor data.
• Ensure timely and accurate GST payments.
• Assist in preparation of e-way bills and GST-related invoices.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance.
• Handle GST notices, assessments, and departmental queries.
• Support in GST audits and annual return filings.
• Keep track of changes in GST laws, rules, and notifications and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and internal teams for GST-related issues.
• Assist senior management in tax planning and reporting.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / CMA Inter.
• Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in GST compliance and filing.
• Strong knowledge of GST law, return filing process, and reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Tally / SAP / Excel and GST portals.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines with strong attention to detail.
