Lead Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in the design, development, and deployment of our mission-critical microservices architecture. You will leverage your expertise in Java, React.js, NoSQL databases, Redis, and microservices principles to build, maintain, and scale our software applications.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and implementation of secure and scalable microservices using Java frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot) and integrate with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) for efficient data storage and retrieval.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, engineering) to understand business requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
Champion the adoption of best practices for microservices architecture, API design, clean code principles, and NoSQL data modeling for optimal performance.
Develop and maintain highly performant and maintainable code in Java and React.js
Implement robust unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
Utilize Redis for caching and real-time data management to improve application responsiveness.
Mentor and guide junior developers by conducting code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions on Java, React.js, NoSQL databases, and Redis.
Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Java, React.js, microservices architecture, NoSQL databases, Redis, and DevOps practices.
Participate in the technical evaluation of new technologies and tools.
Foster a collaborative and high-performing engineering team environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Lead Software Engineer with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in software development.
In-depth knowledge of Java programming language (core concepts, frameworks like Spring Boot) and object-oriented design principles.
Solid understanding of React.js and modern frontend development practices.
Experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices architectures.
Familiarity with API design principles (e.g., RESTful APIs).
Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) and their data modeling techniques.
Working knowledge of Redis and its capabilities for caching and real-time data management.
Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito) and integration testing tools.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and mentor junior developers.
