With strict adherence toIATF 16949, ISO 9001, and VDA 6.3 , SAN Automotive is rapidly scaling to strengthen its position as aworld-class supplier .As part of our growth, we are looking for anAssistant Manager – Designin ourNew Product Development (NPD) department .Roles & ResponsibilitiesDesign and developpress tools, welding fixtures, gauges, and jigsfor sheet metal and fabricated components.Interpret and reviewengineering drawingsto create process-friendly designs.Support the NPD team inpart feasibility studies, process design, and BOM preparation .Work closely with thetool room, production, and quality departmentsfor design validation.Assist duringdevelopment trials , resolve tooling-related issues, and ensure manufacturability.Contribute toAPQP & PPAP deliverablesin customer formats.Liaise with external toolmakers and suppliers for outsourced tooling requirements.Maintain technical documentation and design records.Provide support duringaudits, technical reviews, and customer approvals .Preferred Candidate ProfileDiploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.6–9 yearsof relevant experience in tool, fixture, and gauge design in the automotive/sheet metal industry.Strong knowledge ofpress tools, welding fixtures, and gauge design .Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo/Pro-E, UG-NX).Familiar withAPQP, PPAP, IATF 16949, and OEM-specific standards .Strong communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly.Perks and BenefitsCompetitive salary package in the range of₹50,000 – ₹70,000 per month(negotiable).Opportunity to work with leadingOEMs and Tier 1 clients .Exposure to advanced tool rooms, robotic welding, and state-of-the-art manufacturing systems.Professional growth opportunities in arapidly scaling organization .A collaborative work culture driven byengineering excellence .Location : Faridabad, HaryanaApply to : : Ms. Kamna | Website :
