We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join our Finance team. As a CA, you will be responsible for implementing account systems and financial practices and monitoring the duties performed by the accounts team. Additionally, you will be responsible for areas such as forecast of budgets, conducting tax planning activities, and ensuring adherence to national financial laws.



Location: Trivandrum (must be willing to travel to other regions and offices as needed)

Experience: 2-3 years



Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, reports, and documentation in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • In financial audit processes, encompassing both internal and external audits, actively participate by furnishing essential documentation and explanations. Additionally, play a crucial role in recommending solutions to address accounting issues and enhance overall audit effectiveness.
  • Ensure timely publication of financial statements
  • Perform routine bookkeeping tasks, including the maintenance of general ledger accounts, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Assist in the analysis of financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist in preparing payments, managing statutory compliance filings, and ensuring adherence to all regulations with a focus on timely submissions.
  • Support senior finance team members in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure the company's financial practices remain up-to-date and in compliance.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned by the Finance Manager or Senior Chartered Accountants.
  • Verify financial documents, such as invoices, statements, and vouchers, and guarantee the accurate documentation of financial transactions.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Chartered Accountancy (CA) qualification is required.
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance (fresh CA qualifiers are encouraged to apply).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
