Job Description:We are looking for a Lead candidate with a strong background in React Native and OTT front-end development. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building and scaling cross-platform applications, optimizing performance for streaming platforms, and delivering seamless user experiences. You should be comfortable with UI/UX implementation, API integration, debugging complex issues, and working across the full mobile app development lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:- Lead the architecture and development of cross-platform OTT front-end applications for Mobile (iOS/Android), STB, and Smart TVs (Android TV, Tizen, WebOS) using React Native.- Build and optimize media and streaming applications, ensuring high-quality video playback, performance, and reliability across platforms.- Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver scalable, user-centric streaming experiences.- Leverage solid JavaScript expertise to build and maintain applications for Samsung Tizen and LG WebOS ecosystems.- Define technical standards and best practices, conducting regular code reviews and ensuring consistency across projects.- Mentor and guide development teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.- Integrate third-party SDKs and APIs (e.g., analytics, DRM, content delivery, ad tech) into OTT applications.- Drive performance optimization across devices, ensuring smooth navigation, responsive UI, and efficient resource usage.- Stay current with OTT and Smart TV technologies, evaluating new tools and frameworks to enhance platform capabilities.Qualifications:- Education & Experience- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.- 6-10 years of professional experience in front-end or mobile application development, with 3+ years leading teams or projects.- Proven experience delivering OTT, media, or streaming applications across multiple platforms.- Technical Skills- Expert-level proficiency in React Native, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.- Strong experience building cross-platform apps for iOS, Android, Android TV, Apple TV, STB, and Smart TV platforms (Tizen, WebOS).- In-depth understanding of Smart TV ecosystems, including Samsung Tizen and LG WebOS application development.- Hands-on experience with media playback frameworks, DRM, and streaming technologies (e.g., HLS, DASH, ExoPlayer, AVPlayer).- Familiarity with microservices-based architectures, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL integrations.- Strong grasp of performance optimization, memory management, and device-specific debugging.- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and app store deployments.- Soft Skills- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities with a collaborative mindset.- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality user experiences.- Ability to work in agile environments and manage multiple priorities effectively.- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
