Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Head of Special Projects at Dr. Kurade's. As the Head of Special Projects, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects pertaining to the Nutraceutical and Wellness Division within the organization. This includes planning, coordinating, and executing projects to ensure successful outcomes. This role is based in Goa, India, and requires on-site presence.

Qualifications:

- B. Pharm / M. Pharm & MBA- Experience: 10+ years- Proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects from conception to completion, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning: The candidate is to assist and carry out the initial planning stages of projects in the nutraceutical and wellness space, helping define project goals, objectives, scope, and timelines. They may also aid in developing project budgets and resource allocation plans.2. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that all nutraceutical and wellness projects adhere to all relevant regulations and compliance standards is essential. The candidate is to navigate the complex regulatory landscape by providing insights into FDA (or equivalent agency) requirements, quality control, and documentation.3. Clinical Trials Support: The candidate is to have expertise in clinical research and trials, assisting in the design and execution of clinical trials. This includes protocol development, patient recruitment strategies, monitoring trial progress, and data analysis.4. Product Development: For product development projects, the candidate should offer expertise in formulation development, pre-clinical testing, and clinical trial design. They may also advise on strategies for achieving FDA approval.5. Project Management: Projects may require effective project management. The candidate should be able to take on project management roles, overseeing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure project success.6. Sales and Marketing: The candidate is to assist in the development of marketing and promotional plans for products to support the end consumers’ needs, and ensure the marketing strategy is implemented.7. Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks is crucial in wellness projects. The candidate is to assess potential risks and develop strategies to manage and minimize them.8. Vendor and Supplier Management: The candidate is to assist in selecting and managing third-party vendors and suppliers for various project needs, such as contract manufacturing, laboratory services, or clinical research organizations.9. Technology Implementation: In an increasingly digital and data-driven industry, the candidate is to help select, implement, and optimize technology solutions for data management, analytics, and compliance.10. Quality Assurance and Validation: Ensuring the quality and integrity of nutraceutical and wellness products and processes is a top priority. The candidate is to help establish quality assurance processes and perform validation activities to meet regulatory requirements.11. Market Analysis: To bring products to market, the candidate can help provide market research and analysis to assess market potential, pricing strategies, and competition.12. Cost Analysis: The candidate is to assist in cost estimation and cost-benefit analysis, helping make informed decisions regarding project investment and resource allocation.
