About Position
As a Tech Lead for AI/ML for Edge Devices, you will spearhead our efforts to transition cloud-based AI/ML models to edge devices or built models from scratch. You will play a crucial role in optimizing and deploying machine learning algorithms on hardware-constrained environments, ensuring seamless performance and integration. Your expertise will guide the architecture and implementation of edge solutions, addressing both software and hardware considerations.

We'll trust you to:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML models on edge devices.
  • Architect efficient edge computing solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate edge AI capabilities into our product offerings.
  • Optimize machine learning algorithms for performance and resource usage on edge devices.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of AI/ML models on various hardware platforms.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML, edge computing, and related technologies.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

What you'll need to have:

  • Proven experience in AI/ML model development and deployment.
  • Strong background in both software engineering and hardware optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with edge computing frameworks and platforms (e.g. DSP, GPU, NPU, etc.).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-to-edge migration challenges and strategies.
  • Experience with performance tuning and resource management on constrained devices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • 5+ years of working experience.

  • Experience in deploying AI/ML models in real-time, low-latency environments.
  • Knowledge of IoT protocols and architectures.
  • Familiarity with data preprocessing and management for edge AI applications.
  • Contributions to open-source AI/ML or edge computing projects.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to learning new technologies and staying updated with industry trends.
  • Previous experience working on Speech and/or Text technologies.
