Job Description :

As a Python Developer at Torry Harris, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Python-based applications and integrations. You will work closely with other team members to create innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Your role will involve understanding business requirements, designing and implementing technical solutions, and ensuring that the applications are robust and scalable.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and test Python-based applications and integrations

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

- Provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members

- Continuously improve and optimize existing code to ensure performance and reliability

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Python development

- Linux server - Basic knowledge

- Docker - Fundamental concepts and hands on experience with respect to Docker images & containers

- Proficient in programming languages like Java, Python, .NET, PHP, Ruby and basic ReactJS - Python mandatory

- Familiar with frameworks like Node.js, Ruby on Rails

- Database management systems with SQL, InfluxDB, good understanding on handling Time series data

- Communication protocol stack integration


- Knowledge of MQTT brokers and pub/sub model is must have

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- Proven experience as a Python Developer with a strong portfolio of Python-based projects

- Proficiency in Python, Django, Flask, or other Python frameworks

- Experience with RESTful APIs, database design, and ORM frameworks

- Strong knowledge of software engineering principles and best practices

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
