Corporate Finance - Manufacturing Process & Domain Consulting Group

Responsibilities
As a Lead/ Principal Consultant as part of Process & Domain Consultant in the Manufacturing vertical will drive consulting led client engagements and actively support /lead sales opportunities working closely with Infosys senior delivery managers, client engagement managers and sales teams. Such as a Consultant owns the domain/business thread of a large IT program ensuring that the solution meets/exceeds client expectations. The ideal person should have 6 - 12+ years extensive domain consulting and/or industry experience. Relevant IT experience is a plus.
Consultant Responsibilities`
- Work on client assignments, typically large digital transformation or AMS programs, as an individual contributor or as a domain leader.
- Engage with client business and IT, and internal Infosys stakeholders throughout the phases of an IT program from planning through solutioning and implementing
- Define business/process models taking into account Industry best practices
- Drive business workshops to define requirements and elaborate functional specifications of an IT solution
- Be a conduit between Infosys IT teams and client business stakeholders, during subsequent phases of the program
- Be the Subject Matter Expert for the client and IT team
- Work with Infosys Sales team to lead or drive business/functional content in client pursuits
- Drive thought leadership initiatives including publishing knowledge assets internally and thought papers externally
- Contribute to account management strategy and unit strategy as required
Mandatory Skills
- Relevant expertise in at least one of the below domain/functional areas
- Financial budgeting and planning
- General Accounting
- Cost accounting
- Financial reporting & Closures
- Experience in end-end implementation and maintenance of any of digital solutions relevant for Corporate finance function across record to report process chain
- Relevant experience as a domain/business consultant or business analyst OR an industry practitioner
- Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
- Experience in facilitating meetings and drive discussions with senior customer executives, business users, and IT team members
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Good to have
- Solution implementation or experience in leading large maintenance programs for Corporate Finance Applications with clients in at least one of the industry segments
- Automotive (including Automotive financial service)
- Industrial manufacturing
- Experience as an industry/market analyst focused on the above segments is also valid
- Ability to work in a matrix org structure
- Familiarity with IT and software development project lifecycle
- 1-2 years’ experience in Sales or sales support role
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree (STEM) with specialization in Finance / Information science from reputed institutes
- Additional certifications in the field of Finance (for example CFA)
Experience Required ( In Years)
- 10+ years of domain consulting/ business consulting / business analyst/ industry experience
