Cad Customization Mechanical Professional

Responsibilities: Develop and customize CAD software tools and applications to enhance mechanical design processes. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to understand their requirements and translate them into effective CAD solutions. Write and maintain scripts, macros, and plugins to automate repetitive design tasks and improve efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CAD software and customizations. Provide training and support to design and engineering teams on the use of customized CAD tools. Stay updated on the latest CAD technologies, tools, and industry trends to continuously improve customization efforts. Document all customizations, including code, processes, and user manuals. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience in CAD customization, with at least 3 years of experience. Strong knowledge of CAD software (e.G., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA) and programming languages (e.G., VBA, Python, C++). Skills: CAD Customization: Developing and customizing CAD tools to enhance design processes. Scripting: Writing scripts, macros, and plugins to automate design tasks. Technical Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving CAD software issues. User Training: Providing training and support on customized CAD tools. Documentation: Documenting customizations and creating user manuals. Preferred: Experience with advanced CAD software customization and integration. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Knowledge of mechanical design and engineering principles. Ability to work independently and manage multiple customization projects.
