Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by customers, clients, or internal users.
Document and track the progress and resolution of technical issues using ticketing systems, databases, or spreadsheets.
Escalate complex issues to senior MTS, engineers, developers, or managers as needed.
Test, install, configure, upgrade, and maintain software, hardware, or network systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
Provide training or guidance to customers on how to use or optimize software, hardware, or network systems.
Collaborate with other MTS to improve technical support processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
Design, develop, and implement innovative cyber security solutions in line with InstaSafe’s mission to simplify and enhance security.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Develop high quality code with an emphasis on security, performance, and scalability.
Identify and resolve complex technical issues and provide solutions to enhance system performance and security.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cyber security and cloud technologies to drive innovation within the team.
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical skills:
Knowledge of software, hardware, or network systems relevant to cyber security.
Candidate must be comfortable to work across the departments of the Organization
Candidates must be Proactive, Adaptive, Polyglot and have the willingness to learn.
Proficiency in troubleshooting, testing, installing, configuring, and maintaining software, hardware, or network systems.
Familiarity with ticketing systems, databases, or spreadsheets for documenting and tracking technical issues.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or similar, and familiarity with frameworks or platforms for debugging or modifying software.
Understanding of cloud technologies and architectures, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with security protocols, encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms.
Familiarity with Zero Trust Security principles and implementation.
Soft skills:
Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers in a clear and professional manner.
Strong problem solving skills for analyzing and resolving technical issues.
Critical thinking skills for identifying and applying the best technical solutions.
Teamwork skills for collaborating with other MTS.
Learning skills for keeping up with new technologies and advancements in cyber security.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
At least one year of experience in providing technical support or working with software, hardware, or network systems.
Certification or accreditation in software, hardware, or network systems relevant to the cyber security industry is a plus.
Proven experience in software development, preferably in the cyber security domain.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
Prior experience with agile development methodologies.
