Purpose:

We are seeking a highly experienced Sr Engineering Manager - IT Infrastructure for the Healthcare industry to join our team in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of relevant experience and will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure to support our healthcare operations. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of healthcare IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand IT infrastructure requirements and provide strategic solutions.
  • Oversee the installation and configuration of hardware, software, and network components required for healthcare.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and address any issues or bottlenecks proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and security protocols related to healthcare infrastructure.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies like Advanced Cloud Networking, IoT, Edge Computing, Private 5G, AIOPs and trends to make recommendations for infrastructure enhancements.
  • Manage a team of infrastructure professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to procure necessary infrastructure components and services.
  • Contribute to the development of infrastructure budgets and manage expenses within the approved budget.

Experience:

  • 12-15 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing complex healthcare infrastructure solutions.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing IT infrastructure teams.


Education Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.


Certification Required

Relevant certifications in IT infrastructure management and healthcare technology.

Certifications in Cloud technologies and cybersecurity are advantageous.

  • Proficiency in Data center, Edge computing, IoT infrastructure, network architecture, Cloud Infrastructure, server technologies, and storage solutions specific to healthcare settings.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and HITRUST for healthcare data management.
  • Experience with virtualization, Cloud platforms, and cybersecurity protocols relevant to healthcare systems.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and electronic health record (EHR) platforms.


Non-Negotiable Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in leading complex infrastructure projects in the healthcare industry.

Proven ability to develop and mentor high-performing infrastructure teams.

  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare-specific technology requirements and compliance standards.
