Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Support Analyst to join our Finance Shared Services team. This role will be responsible for providing comprehensive support in both direct and indirect tax functions across multiple tax jurisdictions. The successful candidate will assist in tax compliance processes, audit support, and ongoing tax governance activities for entities within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of direct and indirect tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local tax regulations.
  • Support during tax audits, including the collection and preparation of required documentation and data analysis.
  • Compile and maintain audit-related materials, including responses to tax authorities and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update tax governance workbooks, entity level and corporate level including:
  • Tax Risk Register
  • Uncertain Tax Positions Tracker
  • Significant Transactions Tax Impact Tracker
  • Tax Compliance Calendars Support the maintenance and reporting of tax balances, including Effective Tax Rates (ETRs) for each entity, Current Tax and Deferred Tax Balances.
  • Coordinate with finance teams in multiple jurisdictions to ensure consistent and timely tax support and compliance.
  • Assist in general tax governance activities, ensuring all internal policies and external regulations are adhered to.
  • Help streamline tax-related processes and improve documentation standards across the tax function.
Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Tax specialization is a plus.
  • 4–8 years of relevant experience in tax compliance or tax accounting, preferably within a shared services or multinational environment.
  • Good understanding of both direct and indirect tax concepts.
  • Familiarity with tax governance frameworks and audit processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with financial systems (e.g., Infor ln, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and work with teams in multiple tax jurisdictions.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
