Job Description - Interior Designer
Key Responsibilities:
Design Conceptualization & Development:
Create detailed design concepts, mood boards, and floor plans for residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces using furniture products.
Develop layouts and select furniture, materials, textures, finishes, and accessories to create functional and visually cohesive spaces.
Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and preferences, ensuring designs align with their vision and the company’s offerings.
Client Collaboration & Presentations:
Work closely with clients to present design proposals, making adjustments as needed to meet client preferences and project specifications.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, architects, and suppliers to ensure the successful execution of design projects.
Furniture Selection & Customization:
Select and recommend appropriate furniture pieces from the company’s collections for different interior environments.
Provide insight into product customization and recommend modifications to suit specific client requirements.
Space Planning & Layouts:
Develop accurate space planning layouts that optimize functionality, flow, and use of furniture.
Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design tools) to create 2D and 3D visualizations and technical drawings of design concepts.
Project Management:
Oversee the coordination of design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and installation teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of furniture and accessories.
Trend Awareness & Innovation:
Stay up-to-date with the latest interior design trends, color palettes, and furniture design innovations.
Incorporate sustainable and eco-friendly design solutions, where appropriate, in line with industry standards and client needs.
Quality Control:
Ensure all furniture and materials selected are of the highest quality, meeting both aesthetic and functional requirements.
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure the design is executed accurately and to the highest standard.
Qualification - Diploma / Degree In Interior / Furniture Designing
Experience - 3+ years from Furniture Designing
Must have skills - Auto Cad, PPT, SketchUp.
