Designation – Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Location – Gurgaon/ Hybrid
Experience – 2-3 Years
Job Description:
- We are seeking an energetic sales development representative (SDR) with a demonstrated experience of working with US market. The remit for the candidate is to find and screen potential customers who could benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with a prospect, you should have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up sales closers for success. You should be a quick learner who has demonstrated strong communication skills and an ability to showcase client offerings in a compelling way. The Key KPI will be to drive top-of-the-funnel lead generation to be passed on to account executives and sales managers.
Objectives of this role
- Represent the company's products and services, using comprehensive knowledge as well as consumer research to explain how our solutions meet customer needs
- Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives in next steps
- Identify best practices for refining the company's lead-generation playbook
Responsibilities
1. Research, identify and prospect for new customers
· You will discover ICP ( Ideal customer profile) and persona through research, build a prospect database from scratch using tools, and design an outreach program for targeted clients based in US and India
2. Make more calls and send more emails
· SDRs should reach out to potential leads or promptly follow up with those who have inquired about our company and offerings via phone, email and social media.
3. Setup quality client meetings and appointments
· SDRs should write down the list of smart questions to ask during the call, or create a sales call script to qualify or disqualify leads
- Set up meetings or calls between customers and sales executives
- Take the prospect through early stages of sales pipeline
- Reporting with daily & weekly progress
A day in the life:
· This role will primarily have working hours aligned with US time zones. Occasionally for team meetings/ reviews working hours may be aligned with India time zones.
Required skills and qualifications
- Mandatory experience of selling into US region and working in US time zones
- Two or three years of experience as a SDR, with a track record of exceeding lead targets
· Strong communication, persuasive abilities, resilience, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha or ZoomInfo
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
