Job Title: Senior Security Analyst – Platform Security

Work Location:IN / Hyderabad

FedEx Information Security (InfoSec) ensures the security of the enterprise systems and data, through business agility, system reliability, and information security controls to enable the business to deliver the Purple Promise. The Global InfoSec team strives to protect the enterprise from cyber threats, secure business operations, and ensure global regulatory compliance.

Job Descriptions:We are seeking an ideal candidate that will be responsible for setting overall guidelines and requirements for securing various enterprise platforms (Linux/Microsoft/Oracle/VMware/DNS/AD) and to assist in the coordination and remediation required for closing security gaps identified within those platforms. Understands InfoSec domains and has experience with security configuration standards for those platforms. Having a collaborative mindset and working well with others.

Platform Security will include:Technical Assessment: Define the scope of the platform, evaluate CIS hardening standards and other benchmarks.Planning: Analyse the risk associated with recommended security controls, create tiered model where applicable.Coordination: Work with technology owners to define gaps and architect security baselines.Implementation: Test and implement required security baselines.

Skills / Knowledge Considered a Plus:Enterprise reference architecture and core platform knowledgeCritical infrastructure servicesNetwork and Data Center architecture.Red Hat LinuxWindows Server and EndpointOracle DB, WebLogic, and JavaVMware ESXi and vCenterCloud Security

Effective Communication:Communicate effectively with colleagues and management during presentations.

Collaboration:Collaborate as a team player within the Platform Security team, InfoSec and across the Enterprise organization.

Requirement:Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.Proficiency in English comprehensionPreferably with minimum 3-5 years of work experience especially in platform sysadmin, cyber security, or regulatory compliance.Preferably have practical knowledge in using ServiceNow and Microsoft Office, particularly in Power BI.Preferably have practical experience in implementing LEAN, AGILE and Design Thinking
