Payroll Specialist

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role as a Payroll Specialist located in Bengaluru. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day payroll administration, processing payroll, managing garnishments, handling payroll taxes, and providing payroll services. The Payroll Specialist will ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll data and compliance with payroll regulations.
QualificationsExpertise in Payroll Administration, Payroll Services, Payroll Taxes, and Payroll ProcessingExperience in Workday is mandatory.Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to payroll and taxationExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teamsSound analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex payroll issuesAbility to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet deadlinesPreference for candidates with experience working with start-ups and SMEsShould be available for immediate joining.Qualifications such as a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, and relevant certifications such as CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification), would be beneficial.
