EduSkills drives social and business impact through its holistic focus on education, employment, and entrepreneurship.Role DescriptionThe Event Sponsorship Manager will lead sponsorship efforts for events, focusing on enhancing partnerships and ensuring successful outcomes. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. Key responsibilities include strategizing sponsorship opportunities, managing sponsor relationships, planning and executing event sponsorship plans, creating marketing materials for outreach, and ensuring compliance with budgets.QualificationsStrong skills in Event Marketing and CommunicationExpertise in Event Management and PlanningExperience in Budgeting and financial planning for eventsExcellent negotiation, networking, and interpersonal skillsProficiency in organizational and time management abilitiesBachelor's degree in Marketing, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related fieldPrior experience in a sponsorship or partnership role within the non-profit or education sector is a plusAbility to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholdersKey Responsibilities1. Sponsorship AcquisitionIdentify, pitch, and close sponsorship opportunities for EduSkills events and summits.Develop customized sponsorship proposals aligned with sponsor objectives and event positioning.Maintain a healthy pipeline of potential sponsors across sectors.2. Relationship ManagementBuild long-term, strategic partnerships with corporate leaders, HR heads, CSR teams, and marketing heads.Serve as a trusted point of contact before, during, and after events.Ensure sponsors receive exceptional experience and deliverables.3. Proposal & Package DevelopmentCreate innovative sponsorship packages, tiered benefits, and ROI-driven offerings.Collaborate with content, design, and events teams to prepare professional proposals, decks, and brochures.4. Event CoordinationCoordinate with the events team to ensure sponsorship commitments are fulfilled (branding, booths, speaking slots, etc.).Manage sponsor onboarding, logistics, placement, and deliverables during events.5. Revenue & Target OwnershipAchieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sponsorship targets.Track performance metrics and maintain revenue dashboards.Forecast sponsorship income for upcoming events.6. Market & Industry ResearchMap industry trends, competitor events, sponsorship budgets, and new partnership avenues.Identify emerging opportunities across EdTech, HR, tech, and CSR ecosystems.7. Branding & CommunicationCollaborate with marketing for sponsor announcements, co-branded campaigns, and visibility assets.Draft sponsor communication, meeting notes, follow-ups, and MoUs.8. Internal CollaborationWork with Events, Partnerships, Membership, and HR Community teams to align sponsorship goals.Support multi-event planning cycles and national conference roadmaps.Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong communication and pitching skillsExperience in sponsorship sales or corporate partnershipsAbility to engage senior stakeholders and decision-makersTarget-driven and comfortable with revenue ownershipProfessional proposal writing and presentation skillsUnderstanding of event marketing, branding, and audience engagementProactive, persistent, and relationship-focusedGood knowledge of CRM, MS Office, and industry networksEligibility CriteriaBachelor’s or Master’s degree (MBA preferred)2–3 years of experience in sponsorship sales, B2B partnerships, business development, or event managementExperience in education, HR, tech, or conferences is an advantage
