Job Description
MCE Engineers Pvt Limited   is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our Oil and Gas division. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing electrical systems, equipment, and components for oil and gas projects. This is a mid-level position requiring 5 to 15 years of experience. The job is located in Mumbai and is a full-time employment opportunity.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5 to 15years of experience in electrical design for oil and gas projects
  • Proficient in electrical design software and tools
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards
  • Experience with electrical simulation and calculation software
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities

Requirements

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Design electrical control systems, equipment, and components for oil and gas projects
  • Prepare and review electrical engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project requirements are met
  • Conduct technical feasibility studies and cost estimation
  • Perform electrical calculations and simulations
  • Select and specify electrical materials, equipment, and vendors
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations
  • Support commissioning and testing activities
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams
  • Monitor and evaluate electrical system performance

Requirements
1. Experience in Electrical Design, detail engineering, preparation of layout drawings, cable routing etc. 2. Experience in cable sizing calculation and selection of electrical Equipment 3. Knowledge in Hazardous Area Classifications and related electrical equipment selection. 4. Prepare technical documents and drawings based on the clients specifications and requirements. 5. Design all types of Power diagrams with suitable circuit protections. 6. Prepare Instrument loop diagrams. 7. Prepare Wiring Schedules and Field Cable Schedules. 8. Supervise and review the design. 9. To report all near misses & incidents to the responsible Manager 10. Authorized to stop work if the working condition or actions from individuals pose hazards or can cause accidents.
