Direct ResponsibilitiesDevelopment and enhancements for application platform.Contribute to Data modelling to cover long term application development and maintenance objectivesContribute to application design and development.Liaise with the London based IT developers in a “one team” approach in implementing requirements from specificationsUndertake peer review and testing activities of implemented code as directedContribute to the strategic direction of the new platform.Clarify precisely what actions the program is intended to perform when there is ambiguityDevise solutions to problems, evaluate and provide options to technical leadWork as a team to design and develop parts of the systemImprove existing software implementations by enhancing features, fixing bugsBe aware of the business domain the software is being created forFollow technical architecture standards where applicableWork closely with testers and business analysts to ensure software functions as expectedBe involved in support if a major problem in production arisesParticipate in out-of-hours / daytime support as requiredEscalate risks / issues to IT management

Technical Competencies

JAVA 11 or higher , Backend service development, Java Spring framework .REST API framework.RUST development (most preferrable as add-on skill)Oracle Coherence CacheUnit testing frameworkStandards : XML , JSONSource management & build - Bitbucket / Jenkins / Artifactory etc.,Tools - Sonar , JMS , Maven , Postman, SoapUIDeployment - Tomcat Servers

Added Preference,Functional Knowledge on Capital markets - Regulatory reporting

Organisation Preference (if any):Structured, organized and a good communicatorAgile way of workingWilling to share knowledge and skills with other developers within the teamDelivery-focused with a good eye for detailExhibits positive interpersonal and team skillsMust be able to work closely with other business analysts located in Paris, Mumbai.Can be able to work independently, should be a good team player
