Job Description – Analyst, Wealth ManagementBCG Expand is seeking an Analyst to support a large and growing book of work within the Wealth Management sector. The successful candidate will contribute to proprietary model updates, analysis delivery, and ongoing innovation within the Wealth Management domain. This role is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual looking to build deep expertise and drive meaningful impact across projects.The Analyst will support the execution, enhancement, and maintenance of proprietary assets—including market sizing models, benchmarking tools, diagnostic frameworks, and simulation models—while also contributing to the development of new offerings and methodologies. A key part of the role involves working with clients and internal stakeholders to help senior management make informed, data-driven decisions.The Analyst will collaborate with global and local teams to deliver insights for BCG case teams and direct-to-client (D2 C) engagements. This includes understanding client requirements, conducting rigorous analysis, and translating findings into clear, actionable insights. We are looking for a curious, structured, and motivated individual—an articulate problem solver—who will play an important role within BCG’s Wealth Management Practice Area.Key Responsibilities- Contributing to the end-to-end delivery of data and analytical workstreams by collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and synthesizing large qualitative and quantitative datasets to update proprietary models and tools- Interpreting market and industry trends to identify patterns, extract insights, and support development of client-ready outputs- Supporting client and internal meetings, responding to questions with sound data analysis and content knowledge- Understanding client needs and working with senior team members to deliver tailored, insight-driven solutions through proprietary tools, detailed analysis, and high-quality deliverables- Ensuring timely and high-quality completion of assigned work packages- Driving analytical tasks independently, with guidance available as needed, and contributing ideas that improve workflows and outputs- Demonstrating ownership over assigned tasks while collaborating closely with senior analysts, lead analysts, and managers- Engaging directly with clients and senior stakeholders when appropriate, often to support discussion at an executive levelWhile oversight is provided by senior colleagues, Expand’s culture emphasizes personal ownership at every stage. Analysts gain broad exposure across the delivery lifecycle—from research and data collection to analysis, visualization, and preparation of reports—providing meaningful development and career progression opportunities.Job RequirementsNote: Candidates must be based in Gurgaon.Qualifications and Experience- MBA from a recognized institution (required)- University degree with strong academic performance, preferably in Business Administration (with a finance focus), economics, quantitative sciences, engineering, or data/analytics-oriented fields- 2–4 years of experience in the financial services industry, ideally in wealth or asset management roles such as strategy, planning, advisory, product management, or analytics- Demonstrated research and database capabilities- Experience in market sizing, peer benchmarking, simulation modelling, or diagnostics is an advantageTechnical Skills- Strong understanding of wealth and asset management industry functions, products, and services- Advanced MS Excel (complex datasets, functions, pivot tables) and Power Point proficiency- Familiarity with databases such as SNL, Bloomberg, Thomson, Morningstar, Simfund- Working knowledge of BI tools, VBA, SQL/Databases, Alteryx, Python, Data IKU, Tableau, etc. is a plusNon-Technical Skills- Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders- Effective project and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines- Ability to interpret data, extract insights, and articulate recommendations- Comfort working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment while maintaining high quality standards- Excellent verbal and written communication- Collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset with initiative and a willingness to learn quickly- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and ethical standards- Ability to work independently within a global project environmentApply NowThis is an immediate vacancy, and early application is encouraged.
