Job Description
We are looking to expand our team with a motivated and talented
Trainee Data Engineer
to help us deliver high-quality data-driven solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or individual with relevant certifications looking to start their career in data engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide data solutions.
• Support data cleaning, validation, and transformation tasks for various data sources.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving data issues, ensuring high data quality and consistency.
• Document processes, systems, and solutions to improve team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Continuously learn and apply best practices in data engineering, Python, and SQL.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements and new initiatives.

Technical Competence

• Basic knowledge of programming languages like Python, SQL, or other data-related technologies (e.g., Python for Data Science, SQL Certification, Data Engineering Fundamentals).
• Strong understanding of Python programming, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and others for data manipulation.
• Solid understanding of SQL for querying databases, including experience with joins, aggregations, and subqueries.
• Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. S
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of data engineering.

Interview Process

• 1st round: Aptitude and Technical Assessment
• 2nd round: Technical Interview/Hiring Manager Interview
• 3rd round: HR Interview

Non-Technical Competencies

• Excellent Communication skills in English

• Basic awareness of American culture would be added advantage.

Educational Background

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields.

Performance Agreement

• The candidate will have to sign an Employee Performance Agreement which will be for 2 years since we will be investing in training a fresher.
• Any employee who breaks the Agreement will have to pay 25% of their base salary. The Program is based in Mysuru.

Work Location and Shift Timings:

• The Program is based in Mysuru. Work hours must be flexible (IST, EST) to accommodate global clients and Company needs.
