This role demands a balance of business development, client management, and operational coordination. The candidate will act as a bridge between clients, the internal team, and management, ensuring that both business targets and project deliverables are met.Detailed Roles & Responsibilities1. Business Development & Lead Generation● Research and identify potential clients across renewable energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.● Generate qualified leads through networking, outreach, and market analysis.● Support in building a strong sales pipeline and ensure consistent follow-ups.● Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and meetings to represent the company and explore new opportunities.2. Client Engagement & Relationship Management● Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries and maintaining healthy professional relationships.● Assist in understanding client requirements and aligning them with company offerings.● Ensure timely updates and communications to clients during pre-sales and project execution stages.● Build long-term relationships that contribute to repeat business and referrals.3. Proposal & Documentation Support● Draft techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and tender responses as per client requirements.● Maintain and update standard proposal templates, presentations, and supporting documents.● Coordinate with technical and finance teams to ensure accuracy in pricing, scope, and deliverables.4. Project Coordination & Operations Support● Collaborate with field operations and data processing teams to track project progress.● Ensure timely delivery of reports, surveys, and other outputs to clients.● Monitor project timelines, resources, and dependencies, escalating issues when needed.● Support in logistics planning for drone surveys, including travel, permissions, and coordination with site teams.5. Financial & Administrative Responsibilities● Track client payments against milestones and follow up for timely clearances.● Maintain records of invoices, purchase orders, and contracts for assigned clients/projects.● Assist the accounts team by providing business updates, supporting documents, and reconciliations as needed.6. Reporting & MIS● Maintain CRM tools and dashboards to track leads, opportunities, and closures.● Prepare weekly and monthly business reports for management review.● Provide insights into business performance, client feedback, and market opportunities.7. Marketing & Brand Support● Support digital marketing initiatives by providing client stories, case studies, and market insights.● Assist in creating impactful presentations, brochures, and client-facing materials.● Represent the company in conferences, seminars, and client meetings as required.Requirements● Minimum 1.5 years of experience in business development, sales, or operations.● Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.● Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.● Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with CRM tools.● Willingness to travel for client meetings and project coordination.● Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.Growth Path at Equinox's Drones● Year 1–2: Handle business coordination, proposals, and client servicing independently.● Year 2–3: Progress to Senior Business Associate / Assistant Manager – leading client accounts and supervising junior team members.● Beyond Year 3: Opportunity to move into Managerial Roles (Business Development / Operations) based on performance and expertise.
