Job Summary :

United We Care, an AI-enabled Mental Health company, is looking for a React Native Developer to join our team. This role involves building and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for both iOS and Android using React Native. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

Responsibilities :

- Build pixel-perfect, buttery-smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.

- Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both iOS and Android platforms.

- Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.

- Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.

- Transition existing React web apps to React Native.

- Collaborate with the product team to define, design, and ship new features.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software development with at least 2 years in React Native.

- Firm grasp of the JavaScript (and TypeScript) language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax.

- Knowledge of functional or object-oriented programming.

- Ability to write well-documented, clean JavaScript code.

- Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts.

- Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, and Gradle (Android Studio, IntelliJ).

- Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage.

- Experience with automated testing suites, like (Jest or Mocha).

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, MobX, etc.

- Experience in creating secure mobile applications.

- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.

- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.

- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Passion for technology and project ownership.

Location : This position is based in Gurgaon, India. However, remote work options may be available for exceptional candidates.
