We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Business/Finance/Market Editor
to join our editorial team. The role requires a strong understanding of business, finance, the economy, and market trends. You will be responsible for overseeing content quality, ensuring accuracy, and shaping stories that inform, engage, and resonate with our audience.

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and domain-savvy
Editor (BFSI)
to lead and manage content development across banking, financial services, and insurance sectors. The ideal candidate will have strong editorial skills, an understanding of BFSI industry trends, and the ability to simplify complex financial concepts into engaging, accurate, and audience-friendly content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit, proofread, and refine articles, reports, whitepapers, blogs, and research papers related to BFSI.
  • Ensure content accuracy, clarity, and consistency with organizational tone and style.
  • Collaborate with writers, analysts, and subject-matter experts to deliver high-quality content.
  • Stay updated on financial regulations, market developments, and emerging trends in banking, fintech, insurance, and capital markets.
  • Review and fact-check data-driven content, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain editorial calendars and ensure timely delivery of all content projects.
  • Mentor junior writers and guide them in producing high-quality financial content.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in English, Journalism, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
  • 4–7 years of editorial/content experience, with at least 3 years in BFSI or finance.
  • Excellent command over English grammar, structure, and business communication.
  • Ability to translate complex financial and technical concepts into simplified, engaging content.
  • Strong attention to detail with proven track record in editing/reviewing.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital publishing platforms is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with strong understanding of BFSI products, services, and regulatory frameworks.
