You will be working in our Manufacturing and Technologies Department in the Sub-Division Manufacturing Quality. This department works ardently towards executing checks and control and monitoring the manufacturing activities, process, and products to ensure they meet the organizations and regulatory standards of quality excellence and safety standards.
Responsibilities
You will carry out integral quality audit processes including verification & control on supplier’s materials such as Aluminum, Casting, Forging, & Machining, Hardware parts and manufacturing processes to bring in high quality standards, conformance to safety norms and resolve issues in mass production to ensure defect free supply.
• Ensuring timely process approval for New Supplier / New Part / New Project and monitoring PPM targets.
• Conducting regular audits inside the plant with clear insight to all stake holders for Continuous Improvement.
• Trouble shooting in case of Field Complaints / rejects at plant (PVPL and P&C / PVN – Global Sourcing).
• Facilitating the Supplier Team and Incoming Quality team to reduce PPM levels (rejects and Disturbance).
• Assisting in activities to give appropriate Process Approval for New Projects before SOP.
• Conducting CF1 / D audit and closure of findings (SC / CC Characteristics).
• Ensuring Timely API audits and closure of findings.
• Checking and imbibing cost optimization ways during Process Approval for any project.
Essential Qualification:
▪ BE– Mechanical / Automobile / Production or Desired Qualification
▪ Process Knowledge – Metal Castings Pressure (Low / High / Gravity), Forgings etc.
▪ Machining – Turning / CNC Machining (Rotating Tools – VMC, HMC, Rotating Part – Lathes, Traubs).
▪ Cutting Tools – Milling / Turning / Special Coated tools.
▪ Metallurgy – Heat Treatment process – Annealing, Normalizing, Change in Hardness and Mechanical Properties, Case / Full Hardening.
▪ Measurement Equipment – CMM, 1st Principle, Air Gages, Special gages.
▪ Analytical Approach – 8D, why why analysis & Green Belt.
▪ Trained System Auditor – ANFIA.
▪ FTG – Fixture, Tooling, Gage Design (concepts) Mistake Proofing.
▪ PFC, FMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plan / Process Sheet.
