About the RoleWe’re looking for a talented Freelance Video Editor to work with a YouTuber and transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality YouTube videos. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual flow, with an understanding of what makes content perform well on YouTube.Responsibilities- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging YouTube videos.- Add transitions, captions, sound effects, and background music.- Trim and rearrange clips to maintain flow and viewer engagement.- Align the editing style with the YouTuber’s tone, personality, and content theme.- Deliver high-quality videos within given deadlines.Requirements- Proven experience editing YouTube or social media videos.- Strong proficiency in video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).- Good sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual rhythm.- Creativity and attention to detail.- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Nice to Have- Experience creating thumbnails or basic motion graphics.- Familiarity with YouTube trends and best practices (intros, hooks, retention techniques, etc.).
