About the Role :We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior VFX Texture Artist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality textures for characters, environments, and props used in visual effects production. With a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of surface properties, and expertise in various texturing techniques, the Senior Texture Artist will collaborate closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration of textures into the final VFX shots.

Key Responsibilities :Create high-quality textures for characters, environments, props, and other elements in VFX productions, using various tools and techniques.Work closely with modelers, shading artists, and lighting teams to ensure textures align with project requirements and artistic vision.Maintain consistency in style and quality across all textures, ensuring they meet technical and artistic standards.Optimize textures for efficient use in the VFX pipeline, balancing quality with performance needs.Troubleshoot and resolve texture-related issues during production.Contribute to look development, offering creative solutions to enhance the visual impact of textures.Mentor junior artists, providing guidance and support in texture creation processes.Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and project milestones.

Qualifications :8+ years of experience

as a Texture Artist in the VFX or animation industry, with a focus on high-end visual effects.Proficient in texture creation tools such as

Substance Painter, Mari, Photoshop , and 3D software like

Maya

or

Blender .Strong understanding of UV mapping, surface detailing, and material properties such as roughness, bump, displacement, and specularity.Excellent knowledge of shaders and how textures interact with lighting and rendering.Experience working with

PBR workflows

(physically based rendering) and multi-channel texturing.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.Strong attention to detail, creativity, and artistic flair.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
