About the Role :

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis. You will work closely with developers and stakeholders to identify issues, verify fixes, and ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities :

- Test Planning : Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and design specifications.

- Test Execution : Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software functionality, reliability, and performance. Identify, document, and track defects through a bug-tracking system.

- Collaboration : Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide feedback on design and functionality.

- Defect Management : Investigate and analyze defects to determine their root cause. Work with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues.

- Continuous Improvement : Participate in the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies. Contribute to the development and enhancement of automated testing frameworks and tools.

- Documentation : Maintain detailed records of test results, defect reports, and test case coverage. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accurately reflects the state of the software.

- Quality Metrics : Monitor and report on key quality metrics to provide insights into software quality and development progress.

Qualifications :

- Experience : 3-5 years of experience as a Software QA Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong track record in software testing and quality assurance.

- Testing Techniques : Proficiency in both manual and automated testing techniques. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (I.e., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) is preferred.

Technical Skills :


- Familiarity with programming languages (ie., Java, Python) and databases.

- Knowledge of SQL for data validation and query development.

- Defect Tracking : Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (i.e., JIRA, TestRail).

- Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to understand complex software systems and identify potential issues.

Communication :


- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


- Ability to clearly document test results and defects, and effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
