Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Automation and DevOps Engineer at Precize Inc, located in Bengaluru. As an Automation and DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks, including infrastructure as code (IaC) implementation, software development, continuous integration, system administration, and Linux administration. Additionally, you will collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain automation testing scripts.
Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in scripting languages like Python and bash
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and frameworks
- Proficiency in software development and scripting
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools
- System administration skills with strong knowledge of Linux systems
- Experience in designing and building Python based automation scripts for API and UI testing.
- Experience with Git or Git-based source control systems (Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab)
- Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
- Understanding of networking and security principles
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good communication and collaboration skills
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) would be beneficial.
