Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong background in Kotlin and cloud-native development.
You will help design and implement microservices and AWS Lambda functions , while also contributing to our Ruby on Rails codebase.
This project involves both modern microservices development and the improvement of legacy systems , offering a unique opportunity to grow across technologies.
Responsibilities Kotlin Development : Build and maintain services and applications using Kotlin , with a focus on scalability and reliability.
Microservices & Cloud : Design and deploy microservices and AWS Lambda functions , leveraging event-driven architecture.
Ruby on Rails Contribution : Work with existing Rails codebases (or be willing to learn) to deliver features and improvements.
Collaboration : Partner with senior engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Code Quality : Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to ensure best practices.
Legacy System Support : Assist with maintaining and modernizing legacy components as part of the team’s roadmap.
Problem Solving : Debug and resolve issues quickly while suggesting improvements for future prevention.
Continuous Learning : Stay updated on industry trends and expand your skillset, especially in Rails if it’s new to you.
Minimum Qualifications Candidate must be located in India . 5-7 years of professional software engineering experience.Strong experience with Kotlin and its ecosystem.
Hands-on experience with microservices and AWS Lambda .
Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) Ruby on Rails .
Solid understanding of cloud environments (AWS preferred).
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with other backend frameworks in addition to Rails and Kotlin.Familiarity with event-driven architectures and worker systems (e.g., Sidekiq, Kafka).
Strong database knowledge (PostgreSQL or MySQL).
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
