Job Description : Lead Backend Developer ( Node. JS )

Experience : 5+ Years

Location : Noida (Currently Hybrid Work Mode)

Key Responsibilities :

1. Technical Leadership: Drive the technical vision of the backend development team ensuring best practices, efficient architecture, and scalability.

2. Development & Design: Hands-on coding, API design, database design, and ensuring the seamless integration of different components of the backend systems.

3. Team Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality code within specified deadlines.

4. Continuous Improvement: Advocate for and implement relevant new technologies, best practices, and methodologies to facilitate continuous development improvement.

5. Mentorship: Mentor junior and mid-level developers by sharing best practices, conducting code reviews, and providing constructive feedback.

6. Testing & Maintenance: Ensure the quality of code through writing unit tests, integration tests, and automating test processes.

7. Performance Optimization: Monitor, identify, and rectify any performance bottlenecks in the applications.

8. Security: Implement and oversee security measures to protect against unauthorized access, attacks, and breaches.

9. Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation related to code and its architecture.

10. Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update stakeholders on the progress, challenges, and timelines.

Technical Skills :

1. Core Expertise: Proficient in Express.js/Node.js, Kafka, MongoDB and Redis.

2. Database Management: Strong experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL, including database design, optimization, and security.

3. API Development: Strong experience in RESTful and/or GraphQL API design and development.

4. Version Control: Proficiency with GIT or equivalent.

5. Testing: Familiarity with backend testing frameworks and best practices.

6. Performance: Experience with caching, load balancing, and other optimization techniques.

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
