Experience: 8–12 years in art/design, with at least 2–3 years in a creative leadership roleAbout the Role:We're looking for an Group Head - Art to join our growing creative team at MRM Bangalore. This role calls for a design-driven, conceptually strong, and team-oriented individual who can lead art direction across digital-first campaigns, integrated marketing, and branding assignments. You'll mentor a team of designers and art directors while collaborating with copy, strategy, and client teams to deliver award-worthy work that drives impact.Key Responsibilities:Creative Direction:- Lead visual storytelling and design strategy across campaigns, platforms, and touchpoints.- Shape and review creative ideas to ensure high standards of execution, originality, and brand alignment.- Set the benchmark for design quality, visual style, and attention to detail across all deliverables.Campaign Development:- Co-lead conceptual development with copy leads and strategy teams for multi-channel campaigns.- Champion user-first thinking in all digital and social design.- Work on new business pitches and proactive ideas for current clients.Client & Stakeholder Collaboration:- Confidently present and defend creative work to internal and external stakeholders.- Interpret client briefs and translate business objectives into strong creative directions.- Build trusted relationships with clients, inspiring confidence through creative thought leadership.Innovation & Trendspotting:- Stay ahead of digital, visual, and platform trends.- Bring new formats, tools, and techniques into the team's work.- Encourage experimentation and elevate the creative output with bold ideas and beautiful execution.Must-Have Skills & Experience:- 8–12 years of experience in a creative agency (digital, mainline, or integrated).- A strong portfolio that reflects a mix of digital, social, campaign, and branding work.- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD); motion design is a plus.- Strong understanding of brand systems, typography, visual hierarchy, and user behavior in digital spaces.- Experience managing people and projects with a creative and empathetic leadership style.- Excellent communication and presentation skills.Nice to Have:- Experience on BFSI, tech, or FMCG brands.- Exposure to UI/UX projects or digital product design.- Basic knowledge of video/motion graphics.Why Join MRM Bangalore?At MRM, we create work that matters—work that builds lasting relationships between people and brands.
