Roles & Responsibilities
- To conduct preliminary assessments of villages and locations.
- To plan and conduct awareness programs in the selected villages.
- To identify potential beneficiaries with input from the Senior Programme Staff.
- To organize and conduct training programs, ensuring all approved IEC materials are printed and distributed during training sessions.
- To ensure vendor orders for bee boxes and other equipment are completed and delivered correctly.
- To assist technical staff in planning and monitoring follow-up visits.
- To ensure the timely execution of the bee flora program, including planning, distribution, and monitoring harvest data collection.
- To supervise the maintenance of the Beekeeping Resource Center.
- To actively participate in M&E activities in the field, including planning, coordination with the field team, timely data collection, and resolving any challenges.
- To monitor and review the logbooks and accounts of the field staff.
- To document project progress regularly according to internal and external formats.
- To actively participate in team meetings and keep records of them.
- To assist the Senior Program Staff in program management, office administration, networking, and related tasks like HR data collection.
Educational Qualifications
Masters in Social Work / Masters in Agriculture and above
Preference
- 0-3 years working experience
- Local person or nearby location
- Basic knowledge about the social sector
Other Skills / Competencies
- Ability to think and take decisions about matters on the field.
- Ability to manage relationships.
- Basic financial management.
- Basic reporting writing skills will be good.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to communicate in Marathi and Hindi is a must.
- Person should be flexible, willing to work in a startup environment, and have good problem-solving abilities.
Additional Notes
- The role involves traveling to the field up to 15-20 days a month, to various program areas.
- Reporting Authority is the State Team Leader
