Role Overview :

As a Direct Response Copywriter , you’ll craft high-converting copy that speaks to dog parents and resonates with our target audience. You’ll be responsible for developing compelling messaging across various channels, including Facebook/Google Ads, email campaigns, blog posts, landing pages, product descriptions, and more .

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop high-converting copy for Facebook/Google Ads, emailers, websites, blogs, and more that grabs attention and drives action.
  • Become a subject matter expert in dog health, nutrition, training, and behavior to write insightful, value-driven content.
  • Conduct in-depth research to produce useful and well-articulated content that resonates with pet parents.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure copy aligns with brand messaging and business goals.
  • Test and optimize copy for conversion, continuously improving content based on performance data.
  • Ensure consistency of voice, tone, and messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Stay updated on direct response copywriting trends and best practices to continuously sharpen your skills.


Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of direct response copywriting experience, ideally in the D2C/eCommerce space.
  • Copywriting Skills: Proven experience writing for Facebook/Google Ads, email marketing, landing pages, blogs, and other digital marketing channels.
  • Passion for Dogs: You are a dog parent and have a deep interest in everything related to dogs.
  • Research Ability: Ability to research complex topics (dog health, nutrition, behavior) and translate them into clear, engaging, and actionable content.
  • Understanding of D2C Marketing: Familiarity with key metrics like CTR, conversion rates, ROAS, etc., and how to write copy that drives these KPIs.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with excellent grammar, spelling, and editing skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt writing style to different formats (short-form for ads, long-form for blogs).
  • Team Collaboration: Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams through tools like Slack, Asana, etc.
