Certifications:

• Terraform Associate certification is highly desirable.

Terraform:

• Proficient in writing, testing, and maintaining Terraform scripts.
• Ability to design modular and reusable Terraform modules.
• Experience with Terraform State management and remote backends.

Cloud Infrastructure:

• In-depth knowledge of cloud services and resources (compute, storage, networking).
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and best practices.

Configuration Management:

• Experience with tools like Ansible, Chef for configuration management and automation.

Scripting and Automation:

• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Ability to develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment and operational tasks.

CI/CD Integration:

• Experience integrating Terraform with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI.

Soft Skills:

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to clearly document processes, configurations, and issues.
• Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in agile development environments is a plus.
• Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
• Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Kubernetes and Containers: Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Networking and Security: Knowledge of networking concepts, cloud security best practices, and tools for securing infrastructure.
• Monitoring and Logging:
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as, CloudWatch, or stack.
• Ability to set up alerts and dashboards for infrastructure monitoring.
• Additional IaC Tools: Familiarity with other IaC tools like AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.

Other Requirements:

• Documentation: Strong ability to create and maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
• Compliance and Security: Understanding of compliance requirements and security policies related to cloud infrastructure.
• Project Management: Basic project management skills to manage and track infrastructure projects and tasks.
• Customer Focus: Ability to understand and respond to customer needs and requirements effectively.
