Role Description :

We are looking for a skilled Freelancer Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team on a contract basis.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for both back-end and front-end web development, utilizing Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, implementing the Model-View-Controller (MVC) design pattern, and following test-driven development practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails.

- Implement back-end functionalities and integrate with front-end components.

- Follow the MVC design pattern to ensure a clean separation of concerns in the codebase.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

- Employ Test-Driven Development (TDD) to enhance software quality and reliability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Debug and resolve issues throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Document code and processes clearly for team collaboration and future reference.

Technical Qualifications :

Back-End Development :

- Proficient in Ruby on Rails (RoR) with experience in building RESTful APIs.

- Strong understanding of database design and management (PostgreSQL, MySQL).

- Experience with ActiveRecord and ORM principles.

Front-End Development :

- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

- Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, or similar) is a plus.

Design Patterns :

- Strong knowledge of the Model-View-Controller (MVC) design pattern.

- Understanding of design patterns and best practices in software Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and experience with testing frameworks (RSpec, Minitest).

- Ability to write unit and integration tests to ensure software functionality.

Additional Skills:

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and remotely.

- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and Agile methodologies
