Basic Qualification
B Tech / B.E. with 6 to 8 years of design experience of Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers as a Supplier / Engineering (EPC environment) pertaining to Hydrocarbon / Petro-chemical / Oil & Gas sectors.
Proficiency requirement
Knowledge in Major Industrial codes and standards which are relevant to Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers such as ASME Sec.VIII, Div.1 & Div.2, ASME Sec. II, Part A,B,D and relevant ANSI standards, TEMA, API 660.
knowledge in Design of various TEMA type of Shell and Tube Heat exchangers.
Proficiency in any of the design software which are listed below and MS Excel.
• BJAC
• PV Elite
• Compress
Knowledge and design experience in Air cooled Heat exchangers is an added advantage.
Knowledge and design experience in static equipment like Reactors, columns, pressure vessels and tanks will be an added advantage
Perform the optimized Mechanical design of the Shell and Tube Heat exchangers by using BJAC / PV Elite / Compress.
