Job Title : Web Application Developer (Node, React, MongoDB)Job Description:MarCloud is a marketing technology specialist consultancy that is in the process of developing customer facing web applications to enable self-serve solutions to customers through our own e-commerce platform. The successful applicant would be able to support the vision of MarCloud by rapidly developing our web application to onboard new features, improve data management and ensure the security of stored data. The successful applicant will be able to support the strategic direction of the project and respond to changes in approach based on our ongoing market research efforts whilst maintaining high-quality code through comprehensive testing. The successful applicant will also be familiar with working in small dynamic teams where each member takes on a broad range of responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:Maintain and develop the project code base that uses Node.js, React.js, MongoDB, HerokuMaintain and develop the support API (Node.js, Express)Quickly gain knowledge of the Salesforce development environment, including use of the APIs that connect our our application to Salesforce and other platformsWork effectively with our developers and consultantsMaintain our codebase on GitHubDevelop an understanding of our target customers and how they may use the web applicationParticipate in market research and feasibility analysisTake responsibility for database securityTake responsibility for the efficiency and scalability of the data model that supports our web applicationBe able to work effectively to deadlines and produce thorough documentation of all work conductedMake use of our project management tool to update project progressIdeal ProfileQualifications and Experience :EssentialAt least 3 years experience developing web applications that use Node.js, ReactExperience of using MongoDB or similar database programsExperience of leading software development projectsBe an effective communicator with the ability to break down complex technical considerations to a non-technical audienceDesirableExperience of working with marketing or sales dataExperience of working with marketing automation tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, Marketo, Eloqua, Adobe Campaign etc…)
