Job Title: Clinical Data Analyst

Overview: The Clinical Data Analyst plays a crucial role in healthcare research and development by analyzing and interpreting complex clinical data. This position ensures data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards to support evidence-based decision-making.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to extract, transform, and analyze diverse healthcare data for research, clinical trials, and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and validate clinical data from various sources.
  • Analyze and interpret clinical data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop and maintain databases for clinical research and reporting purposes.
  • Execute statistical analyses to support clinical studies and research projects.
  • Generate and present in-depth reports and data visualizations to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and clinical standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and researchers to understand data requirements.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to maintain data accuracy and reliability.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of clinical research protocols.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in clinical data analysis.
  • Provide support for data-driven decision-making processes within the organization.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data collection and analysis processes.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of data management processes.
  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure data security and integrity.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Health Informatics, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in clinical data management and analysis, preferably within the Contract Research Organization (CRO) industry.
  • Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to apply statistical methods to analyze healthcare data.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and healthcare databases.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of healthcare terminologies and coding systems (e.g., ICD-10, CPT).
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential data.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to interpret complex clinical data.
  • Adherence to ethical standards and data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
