Manual Test Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manual Test Engineer to join our team. As a fresher in this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow while contributing to the quality assurance process of our software products.

Responsibilities:

Execute manual test cases and test scenarios based on requirements and specificationsIdentify and report software defects, bugs, and issues with clear reproduction stepsParticipate in test planning, test case creation, and test execution activitiesCollaborate with development and cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are metPerform regression testing to validate bug fixes and new featuresMaintain accurate and detailed test execution logs and reportsContribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies

Requirements:

Fresher or recent graduate or a related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedures meticulouslyBasic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologiesStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work in a collaborative team environmentPassion for quality and a keen interest in learning and growing in the field of software testing

Preferred Skills:

Experience with manual testing tools (e.g., Test Management tools, Defect Tracking tools)Knowledge of testing techniques (e.g., black-box testing, white-box testing, regression testing)Familiarity with Agile development methodologiesBasic programming or scripting skills (e.g., SQL)
