DOC - Project Manager 2

The ProjectManager will manage all tasks and aspects throughout the projectlifecycle to ensure they are completed on time and within scope andbudget. Define document and manage project scope schedule andbudget. Develop project charter and work plan tracking budget andschedule progress via appropriate metrics. Develop maintain anddistribute standard project management artifacts (including but notlimited to risk assessments project charter RACI (ResponsibleAccountable Consulted and Informed) matrix communication planproject schedule status reports). Ensure applicable projectdocumentation is complete current and stored appropriately. Manageprojects within the larger VITA procurement and project managementgovernance processes. Provide requirement elicitation analysis anddocumentation as needed. Provide oversight to ensure projects areimplemented according to the operational and financial needs of theAgency. Create and implement a communication plan. Ensure relevantstaff are informed of upcoming deadlines and deliverables therebyensuring smooth completion of work responsibilities. Identifiestracks and ensures resolution of risks/issues and removal ofbarriers. Performs financial and administrative functions to ensuresuccessful execution of projects. Prepare financial or budget plansand allocation along with the planning and finance department inaccordance with each requirement. Provides detailed reports tostakeholders and agency management with respect to the status ofthe project and expenditures. Facilitates project conference callsstatus meetings planning sessions and provide for meeting notes. Bea consultant to stakeholders and communicate project statusthroughout the project lifecycle.
