Business Development Intern

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Intern to play a key role in expanding our market reach, identifying new business opportunities, and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders. This internship will provide hands-on experience in sales strategy, customer acquisition, and brand positioning in the premium farm-to-market segment.
Success in this role means effectively researching market trends, generating leads, assisting in partnerships, and contributing innovative ideas to grow Kisan Bahadur's presence. You will collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to drive business growth and ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers, emerging trends, and competitive landscape.
- Assist in developing outreach strategies to acquire new clients and partners.
- Manage pre-existing client relationships and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Support sales efforts by engaging with leads, following up on inquiries, and scheduling meetings.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives, including content creation, brand awareness campaigns, and social media engagement.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to optimize business strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative solutions for business expansion and growth.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing key findings and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and research skills with an ability to identify business opportunities and analyze complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with potential clients and partners.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, Excel, and data analysis is a plus.
- Possess a passion for agriculture, farm-direct products, and sustainable business practices.
