Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Android Developer with 3+ years of experience in building high-quality mobile applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Android apps using Kotlin/Java, working closely with product, design, and backend teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Work with outside data sources and APIs (RESTful).
  • Identify and fix bugs, and continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and performance using modern tools and practices.
  • Write unit and UI tests to ensure robust, scalable, and high-quality applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Android development.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin.
  • Strong understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack Components and Coroutines.
  • Experience with third-party libraries, APIs, and tools like Retrofit, Room DB, Firebase, Crashlytics, etc.
  • Experience in publishing apps on the Play Store is a plus.
  • Good understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
